Musician Mark Klett currently directs jazz improv and Great American Songbook standards in workshop settings at Music Makers studios in New York City. Here he plays his own arrangement of “Winter” (“L'inverno”) from “The Four Seasons” violin concertos composed by Italian Baroque-era composer Antonio Vivaldi (1678-1741).

The accomplished pianist and guitar player originally hails from Las Cruces, New Mexico. He began playing piano at the age of five and guitar at age 17 and has taught privately and played in many bands, as well as solo shows around the country. In addition to making a living as a professional musician, he enjoys making piano and guitar arrangements for his YouTube channel where he has over 5.5 million views and over 21,000 subscribers.

“One of my favorites from Vivaldi,” says Mark. “And of course it works so well as a shred showcase on the guitar. I really pushed myself to be able to play it. Hope you like it!”

An elegant “Winter” shred for a warm summer day!
