You can go back home, no matter what the tropes say.
You can have laughs and yummy food and good conversations and hugs. You can figure out tough stuff and do heavy lifting. You can look at photo albums and remember, and you can stare at the ceiling and think about nothing.
You can hang with the next generation and get dragged around by a puppy. And you can treat yourself to a memento. And you can call it all a happy win.
